About Salt

The Guardian recently interviewed a chef in residence who discussed the importance of salt in cooking. I found the article to be truly amazing -not just because I thought chef Samin Norsrat gave amazing and inspirational insight to her journey in the kitchen, but also because I couldn’t agree more that  true to the fact, salt is what makes food delicious. Lately I haven’t been waking up to this smell, because I’ve been one the baking them! As a kid chef, I’ve really spent a lot of time working on my cooking techniques but lately I’ve also been trying to expand my skills in baking and scones are a great place to start. Plus it’s a great excuse to get super messy which is always the fun…
